How this website uses storage
Some information can be stored in your browser to keep a website working, remember a choice or understand how people use it. This may use cookies, which are small text files, or local storage built into your browser.
Eletron uses a small amount of necessary local storage for privacy choices, display and accessibility preferences, your shopping basket and any package you choose to save. Analytics and advertising technologies are optional. Their scripts remain off and no information is sent to those providers unless you choose to allow the relevant category.
- Necessary preferences do not track you across websites
- Optional services remain off before consent
- You can change your choice at any time
1. Your choices
When you first visit, you can accept all optional technologies, reject them all, or choose analytics and advertising separately. Accept and reject are presented with equal prominence.
You can revisit or withdraw your choice at any time. Withdrawal stops optional scripts from loading on future page views and removes recognised first-party optional cookies where the browser allows it.
We ask you to renew your choice after six months. Clearing your browser storage will also cause the notice to appear again.
2. Necessary storage
Necessary storage supports a choice or service you have requested and does not require consent. Eletron uses it to remember your privacy selection, apply your chosen display and accessibility options consistently between pages, retain products in your basket and restore a package you deliberately save. Basket and package records contain product choices rather than your name, contact details or payment information. You can clear this storage through your browser. You can also reset display and accessibility options from their panel, clear the basket from the basket panel or reset a saved package from the package builder.
3. Analytics
If you allow analytics, Google Analytics helps us understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, the type of device used and how a visitor reached the site. We use this information to improve content, navigation and performance.
Google Analytics is loaded only after consent. We disable Google advertising signals and advertising personalisation in this configuration. Contact form contents, names, diagnoses, messages and selected interests are not deliberately sent.
4. Advertising
If you allow advertising, the Meta Pixel and, when enabled, the TikTok Pixel may help us understand whether an advert led to a visit and show more relevant Eletron adverts on those platforms. These providers may combine website information with information held in an account, according to their own notices and settings.
Advertising scripts are loaded only after consent. We do not use them to collect form contents or health information, and enhanced data matching features must remain disabled in the provider accounts.
5. Technology details
The exact names used by external providers can change. The following table describes the storage Eletron expects to use when each optional service is configured and allowed.
6. External providers
Optional providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices. Their services may involve transfers outside the United Kingdom using safeguards recognised by UK data protection law.
7. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy if the technologies, providers, purposes or retention periods change. Where a change materially affects consent, we will ask you to choose again.
